Harmonious curves
What it is:
Carte de visite (CDV) photo measuring 2.5 x 4.25 inches.
What I know about it:
Photographer is A. C. Hull of Fremont, Nebraska. Otherwise undated and unidentified.
Comments:
Among other things, I am intrigued by the way the arm of this chair appears to be attached with a simple metal rod. My guess is that this was a special adjustable chair that would allow the photographer greater flexibility in posing his subjects (assuming he ever seated them in the chair in the first place).

Interesting on the arm. 🙂 I can’t take my eye off her face. It looks kind of serious, yet kind of not.
I agree, it’s like the face of a naturally jolly person who is trying to be serious for the camera.
