I got this one because the placement of the prop fence amused me, though I hope it wasn’t an actual reflection of the dynamics of their relationship. It’s a cabinet card (4.25 x 6.5 inches), produced by M. Gustin of Troy, Pennsylvania. I think that was Moses Gustin. (An obituary is here.)

Right, it’s perfectly normal to sit next to a fence that looks like it was made by your pet beaver.
