It’s the beginning of December, and even though it’s a beautiful, surprisingly warm day here in San Francisco, I thought I’d post something wintry. This 4.5 x 2.75-inch photo doesn’t come with any information, but, um, I think it’s safe to assume it’s staged. I also think the expression on the woman’s face makes it clear that she isn’t suffering unduly.

It’s 12 degrees here in southern Vermont this morning and we have a few inches of crusty snow on the ground that fell on Thanksgiving, so this snapshot certainly looks appropriate. The same cannot be said of that man’s shoes and socks.
Haha! Agreed! His hat is a gesture of acknowledgment of the elements, but the rest of his attire isn’t. Stay warm!
