Nurse with patients

This 3×4-inch photo has a faint date stamp on the back. The date is March 25, 1941, but I’m struggling to make out the rest. (I think I see “Kodagem”. Is that a thing? Google isn’t helping.) The date made me wonder if it’s related to WWII, though it’s months before the U.S. entered the war. In any case, I think it’s a surprisingly beautiful image, given the potentially unpleasant scene it’s depicting. It’s peaceful, with patients sleeping or reading, and a nurse who is radiating warmth and compassion.
