What I know about it:

Nothing!  Undated and unidentified.

 

Comments:

Since I know nothing about this photo, all I can do is guess.  I’m guessing it’s a World War II era photo, and American.  I’m guessing the man in the portrait is not around, though the woman’s smile suggests he is alive.  I’m guessing she’s his girlfriend or fiancee.  Maybe wife?  (Maybe sister?  Maybe demented stalker?)   My best guess is that this picture was taken to send to him overseas, assuring him that he has a loved one back home who is keeping the home fires burning (figuratively, if not literally).
