A pleasant lady

What it is:

Photo (oval, 3.5 x 5 inches) mounted on cardboard backing/frame (6 x 7.75 inches).

What I know about it:

I believe the name penciled in the lower right corner is the photographer.  It seems to say Chaese, but it’s hard to read.  Otherwise undated and unidentified.

Comments:

Not much to say.  She just looks nice.  Of course, maybe she wasn’t nice.  But she had sense enough to take a nice-looking photo so that people a hundred years later would think she was nice.
