What it is:
Real photo post card trimmed down to approx. 3.5 x 3 inches.
What I know about it:
Undated (paper manufacturer’s markings that can sometimes help date it have been trimmed off). Written on the back in pencil is: While living in Tuson [sic] Arizona With my friend Booker T. Calbert from Chicago
Comments:
Is it safe to assume that Booker T. Calbert is the gentleman on the right? And is it wrong to suspect that part of the reason he travelled all the way from Chicago was to show Arizona a thing or two about style? 🙂
He definitely showed them what is was to be stylish. I love the pocket square with the fedora, the double breasted jacket, and the cane. It is all in the small details…
Thanks for Sharing!
And thank you for your comment! Yeah, he’s got it going on! You’re right, it’s the details. When I look at the man on the left, I think he looks fine, but looking at the guy on the right, there’s such an overall difference, the clothes, the fit, and the way he’s carrying himself. It’s handy to have them side by side to compare/contrast.
Love this picture. Its like from a cool movie 🙂
I agree! It’s like a still from some swinging detective caper. 🙂
Now that is stylish! Loving the pin-stripes.
Right? We could all learn from him. 🙂
