Photographer is Barnes Studio of Clinton, Missouri. Handwritten on a flap of the folder is Inez L. McKee.
Comments:
Her skin is smooth as alabaster and yet you can see the texture of her hat. Light glows from the right, and yet the rhinestones on the left are shining. The geometry of her face, the curves of her hat, and the deep swoops of her necklaces and neckline, are all in harmonious balance. The photographer has used his tools to turn a rather ordinary set of elements into a gorgeous portrait.
