Glowering baby
What it is:
Photo (5.25 x 7.5 inches) mounted on a cardboard frame/backing (8 x 10 inches; I admit I cropped the extreme edges of the frame from this scan because they were damaged in a way that was distracting).
What I know about it:
Photographer is N. Davis Byerly of Frederick, Maryland. Otherwise undated and unidentified.
Comments:
As skilled as the photographer may be, there’s only so much he can do if the subject is unwilling.
I ove this little soul. Not happy 😀
I know, the poor little thing. Let’s hope the baby isn’t like this all the time.
I agree. Not happy and therefore I find this amusing. Is that cruel?
Nah. I agree. If the baby were crying or in some pain, that would be sad. But the baby is just being a pissed-off little diva, so that’s funny.
Classic comment – “a pissed-off little diva” – so nice to get a good laugh before breakfast!
I gotta vote curious not mad. That’s the face a lot of tiny people make when they’re trying to figure you out, especially if you’re trying to make them smile. Or putting ridiculously gorgeous brand new shoes on them…
I’d guess boy if I had to, though it’s so hard to tell at this age. And since they put all children in dresses until age 7 or so, there’s no way to know.
Adorable.
Could be curious, good point. And I’m sure the photographer was probably making an ass of himself trying to get the kid to smile. I agree the gender is hard to tell here. There are supposedly ways to tell, like how the hair is parted, but I’m still not sure about this one.
Somehow this reminds me of the opening credits of “American Horror Story.”
Another show I still haven’t seen! I guess I gotta get on that.
It’s good — a little gory for my taste, but Jessica Lange and Frances Conroy are delectable. And Dylan McDermott is a bit of all right, especially in the pilot!
