I’ve been trying to decide which parent he takes after more, his mother or his father.

  1. It’s hard to tell whether he favors mom or dad. Let’s hope he grew up to have his father’s nose. 🙂 Speaking of the dad. He’s handsome in my opinion. Also, he reminds me of a local actor I’ve seen or worked with. Although I can’t figure out which one.

  2. I’m not sure the adults aren’t related. Although he’s handsome and she’s plain, their features are fairly similar, including the long, narrow nose and prominent ears, as well as eyes that aren’t quite symmetrical.

    • Hmm, could be. So if the adults are related, what relationship do these three have, do you suppose? Widowed father and son posing with the maiden aunt who lives with them, or something like that?

  3. I had the same assumption you did, Matt: that this is a boy and his parents. And before I read your comments I said to myself, “oh, wow, he looks a lot like mom and a lot like dad…what an adorable age to capture how much he looks like both.”
He has dad’s eyes set like mom’s, a blend of their noses, dad’s forehead and chin, and a blend of their ears. So mathematically I go with “more like dad” but he look so similar to mom…

    Thanks for this one.

    • Glad you like it! It’s almost like a visual puzzle, and it’s kind of fun the way it forces you to deconstruct and reassemble the faces in your mind, then step back and see them one last time as whole individuals before moving on.
