This is one of those photos that really makes the past seem like a different planet.
Ha ha! Yes, I know exactly what you mean. It’s especially funny because when people want to know how some new product or idea will play to average middle-America, they use the phrase “How will it play in Peoria?”, as if Peoria represents all that is common and normal in this country. But looking at this photo, you have to wonder how it got that reputation. 🙂
