After doing yet another cute pet post yesterday, I thought it was time to spice it up with an animal not traditionally considered so cute. This photo is obviously badly damaged, but I thought it was an interesting enough image to share anyway. It’s one of the ones my friend Nathan gave me. This would just be your basic boa constrictor they’re holding, right? I hope it’s their pet that they’ve taken out for an airing, rather than something they found in their yard. But maybe that’s just me projecting my own fears of snakes, wanting them caged up rather than roaming loose. *shudder*

Yes, that is absolutely integral to one’s relationships with serpents in Australia, where we have 4 of the top 10 deadliest snakes in the world. Lucky us!!!!!!
