Summer patterns

What it is:

Photo measuring 3.5 x 5.25 inches.

What I know about it:

Undated and unidentified.  It is printed on paper with the manufacturer’s label Kodak/Velox/Paper, dating it to the 1950s-1960s (which would be obvious anyway from the image).

Comments:

We just passed the Summer Solstice, the longest day of the year, and the official beginning of Summer!  In honor of the carefree gaiety of the days ahead, our models are showing us an array of bright, fresh garments in which to enjoy the season.  🙂

  1. I love this group, especially the baggy pants and the suspenders. Wonder what their relationships are. . . friends, sibs. . ?? Guess we will never know.

    • Glad you like them! I have one or two other pictures of this same situation, these folks gathering for photos, but I think this is the best one. The others don’t give any better indication of who they are or what their relationship is.

  2. Thanks for the reminder that it’s white shoes and high-waisted trousers with suspenders season! 😉
