What it is:
Photo (5.5 x 4 inches) mounted on a cardboard frame/backing. (I have cropped the backing out of the scan because it is distractingly damaged.)
What I know about it:
Nothing! Undated and unidentified.
Comments:
I don’t know who these guys are, or what they are doing here, but they certainly look important, or at least self-important. I like how the guy on the far left is posing for the camera regardless of whatever else is going on. Incidentally, correct flag etiquette demands that the flag never be used as decoration or drapery, never be fastened, never be displayed upside down except as a sign of distress, and never touch the floor. You know, just sayin’.
Flag etiquette indeed. The beady eyed little dude on the left is reaching for a weapon, or at least staying close to it.
It looks like a real rogues gallery across the board.
The one guy without a ‘stache seems VERY upset. Maybe about the flag or maybe about the joke email telling him to shave.
A mustache may have helped hide his frown.
I love this photo! I keep looking at it. I smile when I see the one posed and focused man on the left. All the others seem quite distracted by something…I just wonder what that something is? Did something break? Did somebody fall? Is there a phone ringing? I just have to wonder… 🙂
I assumed they were looking at a speaker, but it’s hard to say. There certainly are a lot of possibilities!
