My sister just had a baby, making me a first-time uncle!  She’s on the other side of the world, and I don’t know much yet, but I thought I’d post a photo to commemorate the occasion.

    I was going to say the same thing, but Christine said it better. Also, that living room is frighteningly like my grandparents’.

      Thanks, Christine! (Christine, meet Christine. 🙂 ) Yes, that living room is definitely evocative of a certain time and place. It doesn’t even feel that old to me, but you’re right, it would be from our grandparents’ time.
