What it is:

What I know about it:
Photographer appears to be Bolton of South Manchester, but see comments below. Written on the back in pencil is Uncle Harry & Lula.
Comments:
I was trying to determine if this is the Manchester in England (I think it is), and I found that Bolton is a town in Greater Manchester. So assuming Bolton is the name of the photography studio, and not just the location, I wonder if the studio was named after a person called Bolton, or if it was named after the town. What I find most intriguing is the identification on the back. Their pose suggests that they are husband and wife, but why call him “Uncle” when she’s just called by her first name? Is she perhaps a second wife? Maybe there’s a greater difference in age than I thought, and he’s a widower and she’s his daughter? Maybe I’m making more of it than necessary, but it caught my attention.

To add to the speculation, Lula appears as though she might be pregnant.
