Comments:
After a couple of beautifully warm days, the weather here suddenly took a turn for the chilly. That’s perfectly normal here (as with everything and everybody in San Francisco, the weather does whatever it wants), but the speed can still be jolting. I suppose I have to accept the fact that summer may actually be over. The folks pictured above look like they’ve spent a lovely day on this pretty, if rather precipitous, beach. But the sweater on the woman down center, and the wind-blown hair of the woman behind her, suggest that the conditions may be shifting, and their fun in the sun may be over, at least for the day.
It reminds me of a Henri Cartier-Bresson photo 🙂 Thanks Matt 🙂
Oh, what a nice comparison! Thank you. 🙂
Your welcome 🙂
Just moments after this picture was snapped this group screamed in unison when they realized that uncle Edsel had slipped away and had fallen over the cliff. When they had time to regain their composure, Betty (far right on the blanket) was heard to say “Ah hell, he wasn’t much fun anyhow.”
LOL, indeed. Fortunately, Edsel dropped the camera behind so we didn’t lose this image. 🙂
