What it is:

Photo measuring 4.25 x 2.5 inches.

What I know about it:

Nothing!  Undated and unidentified.

Comments:

Silly me for letting a cold spell make me think our Indian summer had passed.  Nope, it’s here right on schedule, a week of heat in mid-October that we here in San Francisco affectionately call “earthquake weather”.  (Indeed, the big Loma Prieta quake happened 23 years ago this week.  I would try to commemorate that, but I think the only natural disaster photo in my collection is one showing a building flattened by a hurricane, not a quake.)  So in honor of these beautiful days, I’ll post another warm-weather photo before I have to start posting pictures of people in the snow.  (Not that it snows in San Francisco, of course.  And not that I couldn’t justify more swimsuit pictures by saying they’re in honor of my readers in the Southern Hemisphere.  Like I ever really need to justify swimsuit pictures.)  This photo is completely battered, but it still makes me smile.

  1. Love the knee socks with a swimming suit!

    • Yes, those amused me, too. I wondered if they might be in the process of getting dressed or undressed, so we were seeing a combination of bathing clothes and street clothes.

  2. Are you sure those are bathing suits? They could be uniforms for a girls sports team. I believe I have seen one before, I’ll check through my photos.

    • Good question. I’m never sure about much of anything anymore. LOL The one in the back right seems to have a skirt attached, which reminded me of vintage bathing suits, plus a towel. That only two have socks, only one has a skirt, and only one has a towel, suggested to me that they were either changing in or changing out of their outfits, but I could be wrong. And they could be in some sort of exercise or sporting outfits, too. I’ll be interested to hear what you find.

  3. I like that they seem to be laughing and having a fun time together. Friends.

  4. Wish is was still warm here. You are lucky 🙂

    • Well, Charlie, having lived in places like Ohio and Pennsylvania, I now miss the change of seasons. We always want what we don’t have, right? 🙂

      • yes I believe you are correct 🙂 But it can be a bit of an extreme here…….if I only did not have to travel to work in the snow it would be perfect 🙂
