Aunt Lydia and Little Anker

What it is:

Real photo post card measuring slightly less than 3.5 x 5.5 inches.

What I know about it:

The paper manufacturer’s markings (AZO, four triangles pointing up) date it to 1904-1918.  Written on the back in pen is Rasmussen / Aunt Lydia and Little Anker / Uncle Clarence’s wife and son

Comments:

Here’s another offering from the Rasmussen clan.  Lydia can also been seen here, and I previously posted pictures of Oriole, who is somehow related.  I suspect the various members of the Guenther family that I’ve posted are also related, but I need to make sure before I create a special category for them all.  Meanwhile, there’s this photo.  Lydia is a little older here than previously shown, with a growing son.  Anker is an unusual name, and I have photos of an older Anker, but I think they might be older photos, meaning Little Anker here might have been named after an uncle or something.  In any case, I think it’s an attractive photo, and it’s amusing to see that mother and son wear matching attitudes.
