What it is:

Three photos, two measuring 3.5 x 2.5 inches, and one measuring 3 x 4 inches.  One still has an album mount stuck in the corner.

What I know about it:

Undated and unidentified, but see below.

Comments:

As with, say, the Bert and Slim photos, these came from a big bag of unsorted snapshots, and it’s only after going through them multiple times that I start to recognize people and make connections.  I believe the man in the black overshirt and the woman are a couple, and can also be seen here and here.  I find it interesting that these pictures, obviously taken at the same time, were printed in different ways.   In any case, it’s a nice look at life in small-town America.

  1. I love the connections you are discovering Matt. Sherlock Holmes eat your heart out!

    • Thanks, Katherine. I’m glad you enjoy it, too. There’s something very satisfying about making those connections. It helps when the people have distinctive faces.
