What I know about it:
Photographer is E. W. Hurd of North Adams, Massachusetts. Otherwise undated and unidentified.
Comments:
She has earrings, a necklace and a brooch, and yet it’s the flowers in her hair that stand out to me as the bit of decoration that is unusual and pretty. I also like the nice framing effect. (I suspect the irregularly trimmed corners are that way to fit an actual frame.) I mentioned in a previous post that I mysteriously have a disproportionate number of photos from North Adams in my collection, strange since they came from a variety of sources. This is another one. It’s one of the photos that was a gift from my mother.
