Robin messy, Robin tidy

What it is:
A photo measuring approx. 2.5 x 4.25 inches, and a photo measuring 3.5 x 5.75 inches.
What I know about it:
Written on the back of the first photo is: April 1941 / Clarence took this of Robin and Gwen out by the garage. Robin had been washing the car and Gwen had just come from Sunday school. Written on the back of the second one in the same handwriting is: Mom and Robin / Sept 1943.
Comments:
These are more of the photos my friend Nathan gave me. To me, this is a good example of how small differences can really alter a person’s appearance. I don’t think I would have realized this was the same guy if the photos hadn’t been labeled.
What a happy lovely family! 🙂
I agree!
Great, everyday photos. Love his expression and laugh in the second one!
Thanks, glad you like them. The two facial expressions are among the differences that really make it hard for me to recognize that it’s the same man.
Robin appears to have entered the Service between 1941 and 1943. Hope the happy, laughing man with “mom” returned from the War and that there were many more pictures of him over the years.
Yes, let’s hope so. I have at least one photo of him as a child, but if I have any photos of him older, I don’t recognize them because they aren’t labeled.
