What I know about it:
Photographer is Robert Shankland of Glasgow and Rutherglen, Scotland.
Comments:
She is standing so ramrod straight that even the plant look relaxed in comparison. Everything is in crisp detail except her face, making me wonder whether it’s an effort to soften her features, or simply a mistake. By the way, it’s my understanding that Rutherglen is a suburb that has basically been absorbed into Glasgow by now. And if you’re interested, here are other examples of this photographer’s work.
