What it is:
Carte de visite (CDV) measuring 2.5 x 4 inches.
What I know about it:
Nothing! Undated and unidentified. (The back actually has a pretty design that was presumably intended to frame the photographer’s information, but none is provided.)
Comments:
I maybe be mistaken. Perhaps it’s actual shadow, not a day’s facial hair growth, though it’s hard for me to say for sure. In any case, he looks hale and happy, and the photographer has enhanced this with tinted cheeks.
