Comments:
I’ve come close to posting this one before, but each time I enlarge it, I am reminded how out of focus the children are. But I like it anyway, and the camera’s focus being elsewhere means we get to have a good look at their surroundings. Also, candid and playful photos that are this old are unusual in my collection, so I thought I’d share. Besides, it’s another summery, or relatively summery, photo, my third in a row this week. I’m not sure where this is, if it’s even a waterfront setting, though I’m assuming that’s the case. Certainly there must be water somewhere, since the older child is dressed to swim, though the younger one looks more to be dressed for some impending storm.
Wonderful old photo. I see the water lapping against the steps leading down to the water. The ladies sitting under unbrellas, completely covered heat to toe, to keep from getting sunburned.
Glad you like it! Funny, I assumed that was sand, not water, but I could easily be wrong.
