This photo caught my eye because nobody looks happy here. There’s even a little girl peeking around the priest at the camera, with a doleful expression on her face. When I saw what was written on the back, I laughed, since it seemed to confirm my impression. I assumed the message on the back was tongue-in-cheek, but sometimes I wonder.
This is intriguing! The bride is beautiful. My guess for the location would be the Philippines.
Hmm, that’s a possibility. Being in California, I was automatically assuming it was more local, but that’s a good suggestion.
Likely a shotgun wedding. The bride seems to have a sense of humor about that day. My guess too is that it’s taking place in The Philippines.

Obviously he’s a serviceman. Maybe felt like getting married was the “thing” to do. He seems so much older than she is. A lot of quick weddings happened around that time, for lots of reasons.
Yes, I suspect one of those reasons may be behind what we’re seeing here.
