It’s a hot, summery day here, and what could be more appropriate to share than a day-at-the-beach photo, right? Well, I’ll admit I always feel a little guilty when I consider posting this one. While I’m sure the boy was delighted to have an outfit that would allow him to splash about in the water, it looks ill-fitting and uncomfortable (possibly wool), and makes for the sort of awkward photo that children later resent. The man (his grandfather?), while dapper, doesn’t look any more comfortable on the beach in a three-piece suit. But hopefully they had a good time, anyway. By the way, I can’t tell what sort of body of water this is (assuming I’m seeing this photo correctly, and it’s actually a body of water), though it was only after enlarging it that I realized what looks like a rocky outcropping in the upper right is actually some sort of building.
