This little 3.5 x 2.5-inch photo has no information (no date, names, location, etc.), but I think it’s fun. It looks like somebody said “Hey, everybody, gather together so I can take your picture”, and yet there’s a clear separation between the people in the water and those on the beach, making for a study in contrasts that is almost comical, giving the image a lightheartedness that I like. The people in the water look vibrant with life and motion, while the people on the right seems to be primly saying “we’re fine right here, thank you.” But everybody is smiling in their individual ways, so I suppose they’re having a good time. I’m also curious who these people are. To me, it looks like a rather random group of people, and I wonder what their relationships are to each other.

Well, it’s a large lake or bay somewhere. If it were an ocean, the people on the shore would be worried about getting their shoes wet. Also looks to be a metropolitan area. If my eyes don’t deceive me, those are utility poles in the far background.
I’m wondering about the people in the background. Is the kid jumping out of the boat wanting to be in the picture. And what about the man behind the little fella on the left? Is he photobombing, or is part of the group.
The guy in the three piece suit and tie, and cap, makes me want to have something cool. Ain’t he hot with all that stuff on?
Yes, I was wondering about the people behind this group. Are they connected to the people posing in front, or is it just a busy area?
