As if this image needed to be more adorable, somebody tinted the little boy’s lips (which I only noticed after enlarging it). This, for the record, is a real photo postcard, printed on Agfa paper. The information embossed on the lower left corner shows the photographer was G. Colombini of Lucca, Italy.
Pics of Then 
I have a family friend whose relatives came to the US from Lucca. I will have to show him this next time I see him.
It would be funny if he had similar family photos.
