Man with a cat at Fort Ord

It’s International Cat Day, one of those great social media holidays, so I scanned this picture earlier to post elsewhere, and figured I might as well post it here, too. It’s a 3.5×3.5-inch snapshot. Written on the back is “our rented house Fort Ord with Snopie 1964”. The cat is on a leash! Was he just trying to keep the cat from running off, or did he take the cat on walks? Either way, I love this sweet, sunny scene.
