It’s been a beautiful, summery weekend here, probably one of the last ones we’ll have for a while (though with San Francisco weather, you never know). So in honor of this, I thought I’d post a summery photo that never fails to make me smile. This kid’s grin is a little over-the-top, but his happiness is infectious. I’m not sure what he’s holding, but since I assume this is some sort of souvenir photo from a carnival or boardwalk or something, then he’s probably got a bag of candy. No wonder he’s smiling!

Yes, what is he holding? It looks like a small paper bag with something rectangular inside wrapped in shiny paper. Maybe it’s a big slice of cake or a brownie? More reason to smile …
