Smoke break
What it is:
Snapshot measuring 3.5 x 2.25 inches.
What I know about it:
Nothing! Undated and unidentified.
Comments:
I’m guessing this rustic setting is a barn or stables, or even some sort of garage, and that he works there? He seems to be taking a break to smoke a long-stemmed pipe. Whatever he’s doing there, he seems relaxed and happy, though I must say he would have his work cut out for him just lacing up those boots each day.
I really like the environmental portraits 🙂
Hey Charlie, thanks for letting me know! I try to post a variety, but it’s good to know what sorts of images people especially enjoy seeing.
After all of the formal portraits, it’s nice to see a regular guy enjoying a smoke. It’s also fitting that you chose this snapshot, as PBS has been airing Part 2 of “Alone in the Wilderness”. Very nice!
Thanks, I’m glad you like it! I’ll definitely have to post more informal photos and snapshots since people seem to like them. They aren’t always as old as some of the formal ones, and I worry that some might not be as visually interesting, but there are definitely some fun ones I haven’t posted yet. 🙂
Like this image. And your comment about lacing the boots. 🙂
Thanks, Katie! 🙂
Have always been a boot lover….those are extremely nice, though! He may have been “the horse trainer”…too bad there isn’t even a hint of an indicator of WHERE this was…..drives me crazy, too!!! Pennsylvania Fan…..
Yes, so many possibilities with this one. But I agree, great boots!
