New Year’s Eve

What it is:

Two snapshots, each measuring 3.5 x 3.5 inches.

What I know about it:

Handwritten identifying information on the back is obscured by mounting traces (glue and album paper), but this is the best I can do for now.  Left photo:  written on the front is Louise, Me, Louise’s sister, a friend and on the back is New Year’s Eve – Louise, Yours truly, Jean Sca[?]y, & Edith Hodges.  Right photo:  written on the back is Some of the guest [sic] at the Jackson’s New Years Party.  In the corner is Louise, Henry [illegible] in front, I’m [illegible] the man’s lap.  [illegible] girl is Louise’s [illegible].

Comments:

These were the only photos I could find that were specifically identified as New Year’s Eve, but I think they are fun.  I especially like the composition of the one on the left, but the one on the right shows the party was fun.  And they both fulfill the old adage that the party always ends up in the kitchen.  Here’s wishing everybody a safe and fun New Year’s Eve!
