Looking at this young woman, I feel some obligation to make profound comments about race and gender and history, but my thoughts just keep coming back to how pretty this all is.

Yes, they’re great, I just saw them. I wondered about something, though. Your notes indicate the photos were from the U.S., but would you, there in Australia, have called them African American otherwise? No right or wrong answer, I’m just curious about the use of that term outside America.
Everything’s lovely, down to the painted backdrop.
