What I know about it:
Photographer is B. W. T. Phreaner of Hagerstown, Maryland. (Online sources say the photographer’s first name was Bascom.) Otherwise undated and unidentified.
Comments:
Part of what I like about this photo is that her expression seems warm and relaxed, especially given how carefully composed the rest of her is.
