What it is:
Photo (3.75 x 2.75 inches) mounted to a cardboard backing (10 x 8 inches; I have cropped most of this backing from the scan).
What I know about it:
Nothing! Undated and unidentified.
Comments:
This one is imperfect, with various people blurry or in shadow, but I think there’s still a lot of interesting stuff to look at. And for those who enjoy imagining the story behind a photo, this one has good potential.

I agree… this would be a fun photo to use in a High School English class as a writing prompt! I used something similar in a history class and I was very impressed with the students’ responses. Great photo!
Oh, yes, what a great idea! I’m sure you’ve sparked some wonderful creativity in your students.
Are those musicians on the left and in the back? Their hats and bow ties suggest that, quite different from those on the left which seem to be everyday hats.
BTW, I love the idea of using a photo as a writing prompt. 😉
I don’t know, but they could be. Some of those men do have a sort of barbershop quartet feel to them, but that’s probably just my modern perspective.
That’s what I thought as well. 😉
