Comments:
Once again, I’m fascinated by the choice to pose indoors in outdoor clothing. But he looks sharp. And it’s in keeping with my sporadically imposed theme this season of showing people dressed for colder weather, if not actually in snow.
I like the relaxed pose he’s in. I’m not used to seeing portraits of people of his (apparent) age presented that way.
You’re right, I’m much more used to seeing older people in rather stiff and formal poses. This is refreshing.
He has a compelling face. Avuncular.
I agree. Like the uncle who misses a lot of birthdays, but always gives the best gift when he remembers.
