With apologies to readers like Mike who are apparently facing unseasonal snow in May, here in San Francisco we are having a bit of a heat wave. It’s actually pretty normal for us to have our hottest, summer-like weather in May and October (it’s sometimes called “earthquake weather”, but let’s not tempt fate), only to have the temperatures drop again in July, even while the rest of California swelters. But in honor of our beautiful weather, here’s some appropriate photos. Now that I’ve blown them up, I’m not entirely convinced that the guy in the first photo is the same as the guy in the second and third ones, but I believe the photos belong together at least. Now I’m off to enjoy a bit of the day myself.

Yes, I think you’re probably right. I’ll have to look to see if there are others might belong to this set, too.
