Photographer is Suddard of Fall River, Massachusetts. [I believe that’s J. F. Suddard.] Otherwise undated and unidentified.
Comments:
I’m terrible at guessing people’s ages, but he looks like a young man who has grown a mustache to lend distinction and maturity to his boyish face. I imagine him being fresh out of college and struggling to establish himself in a profession, or being thrust into the family business, burdened at an early age with expectations and responsibilities. They say kids grow up so fast these days, but I think that’s always been true.
