Comments:
Here we have three images printed onto the same strip of paper. I don’t know if this is a temporary mock-up, like a proof sheet, or if it’s the finished product. Either way, it’s fun to see them together. The one on the left is a handsome portrait. The one in the middle seems surprisingly intimate. And any sense from the first two that the woman is demure and subordinate is dispelled by the third.
I am curious about their relationship – father/daughter, husband/wife, uncle/niece, or. . .? Interesting to speculate.
Good question, I don’t know. I was guessing husband and wife (with the husband being a bit older), but I could be wrong.
The smirk in the final image speaks volumes – “Now he’s gone, i finally get to use the chair…” 😉
Yes, that’s why I love all three photos together. The context gives extra meaning to each one. 🙂
I’ve never seen such a…how should I put this…happy, loving couple in any images of this age. I too was thinking husband and wife. What a wonderful little series!
Thanks, Jenna! Yes, if they are a couple, it’s fun to see them in various moods, particularly such loving ones.
