What it is:

Two cartes de visite (CDVs), each measuring 2.5 x 4.25 inches.

What I know about it:

Photographer in both cases is Ellenwood & McCleary of Manchester, New Hampshire.  Otherwise undated and unidentified.

Comments:

All I know about this woman and this man is that they went to the same photographer in roughly the same era.  Beyond that, it’s speculation.  Did they know each other?  Is this a couple?  Did they go to the photographer on the same day?  Are they strangers whose photos are together in my collection by mere coincidence?
