What it is:

Carte de visite (CDV) measuring 2.5 x 4 inches.

What I know about it:

Photographer is A. M. Thompson of Brownsville, Pennsylvania.  Otherwise undated and unidentified.

Comments:

I’m not sure the effort she put into styling her hair had the desired result, but it’s still a lovely and intriguing face from the past to stare at.  The font used for the photographer’s name seems slightly unusual to me.
