Today is the Two Year Anniversary of my blog! For various reasons, I decided that I wanted my blog to present a daily offering, and ever since that first post two years ago, I have managed to do it. I’ve plodded away at it, and now I have something that I am pleased with. It’s also been thrilling to me to end up with hundreds of people following my blog from all over the world, and fun to make connections with people who comment. But lately, I’ve been having periods when I’m working two jobs, or otherwise not home, and having to do a daily post has left me a little spent. Plus, I feel it hasn’t allowed me to give the proper time and consideration to each post. So I promised myself to make it to the two year mark, and now I’m going to switch from “daily” to “occasionally”. As much as I gather some people enjoy my daily posts, I don’t think anyone actually relies on them, and I don’t think the planet will fly off its axis if a few days pass between each post. Most people probably won’t even notice, but for those who do, I wanted to say something so nobody thinks anything is wrong. And if you just started following my blog, remember that there are over 700 old posts to browse through. Hopefully now I’ll have a bit more time to explore the blogs of people who have been kind enough to spend time with mine. Many thanks to everyone who has helped make my blog a rewarding experience for me. And now, I can’t help it, I’m going to look through some photos to see what might be posted next. 🙂

I have to be honest, sometimes a post a day is too much – especially when there are other blogs to look at, not to mention my own to write. 🙂 So, “occasionally” will work just fine. Just don’t let “occasionally” drag into “hardly ever”. 🙂

Hey, Cheers, Mike! *clink* I’ve enjoyed your blog, but I completely understand taking a step back from it. Better to be able to keep doing something you enjoy than to burn out completely.

Ha! I don’t think so, but it does look suspicious. I think they are just people passed out asleep, the bottom guy I think being a bit hammered.
