What it is:
Photo measuring 5 x 3.5 inches.
What I know about it:
Photo is date stamped November 1959. Otherwise no information.
Comments:
We are still having an Indian summer here, so I thought I’d post another summery photo. I guess my readers in the Southern Hemisphere will be thinking about the approaching summer these days, too. I enjoy this photo and its show of fun and affection on a carefree summery day. (Of course, the fact that it’s date stamped November is a little confusing. Unless it was developed long after it was taken. Or unless it’s someplace that’s warm year-round. Or someplace, like Australia, where November is summer.)
How fun!
Thanks, Mrs. P!
Of course the Nov. 59 could just be when the roll of film was developed.
Yes, agreed, that’s what I meant about it being developed later. It could have sat in the camera for months. It’s easy to forget how long it sometimes was before a roll was used up and we finally got to see the photos. 🙂
I didn’t catch that you had made the comment about later developing until after I hit send. 🙂
I actually had one of those disposable film cameras lying around for 15 years once before I had it developed.
Wow! I hope you were pleasantly surprised by what you found.
I had a general idea of what was on the camera but several of the negatives were over exposed. But it was nice to finally see the pics.
🙂
