What I know about it:
Written on the back is: Craig 4-1/2 months with Mommy. The photo was developed with a date stamp indicating it’s a Kodachrome print, dated October 1965. Also, see comments below.

Browsing through the jumbled bins of old photos at the bookstore a few days ago, I was excited to find this one, not just because it’s adorable, but because it’s obviously a companion to this one, which I found at the same store a few weeks before. I wonder if there are others I overlooked, but I feel lucky to have found both of these. While this woman is identified as “Mommy”, the guy in the other photo isn’t identified. Is he the father? Another relative, or family friend? Baby Craig seems delighted, whatever the situation. It also crossed my mind that all three of these people could easily still be around (Craig would be less than a year older than I am), leaving me to wonder what their lives have been,

I just realized you change the background or wallpaper color scheme of your site to match the photo. Very cool! I didn’t know it was possible to do that.
Thanks, but it’s actually the WordPress template I’m using that does that automatically. I don’t always agree with the colors it selects, but I haven’t figured out how to change it. I’ve thought about changing templates entirely, for more reasons than just that, but I’ve been too lazy so far.
