What I know about it:
The Kodachrome stamp on the back indicates the print was made August, 1968. Otherwise no information.
Comments:
Shall we assume this is a couple? Is this a motel? Are they staying here? Perhaps they traveled to attend a wedding or something? Whatever the situation, I love the way the slight angle of the shot and the perspective of the receding background make this otherwise simple image look dynamic.

I don’t know if it did, but it seems they would fit the bill.
It looks like a Washington, DC scandal! Maybe I’m just thinking that because the lady’s dress looks so Jackie Kennedy-inspired. Speaking of DC, it’s nice to see a man with a tie tied at a normal length.
Ha! Yes, I know what you mean. It’s likely to be a perfectly innocent situation, but it’s not hard to read scandal into it.
