At least I’m assuming these are Christmas presents, based on the presence of the Christmas tree. For all I know it could be her birthday or something. In any case, let’s hope she’s as happy with the presents after she’s opened them as she is before.

A good friend of mine has her birthday on the 21st, and she hates having gifts done up in Christmas wrap! (But not as much as getting a gift/card that says, “Merry Christmas–oh, and Happy Birthday.”) I can’t tell if these are in Christmas wrap, or not, but it looks like one has a 40’s-style poinsettia design. And is her hair in curlers?
I was wondering about her hair. It didn’t seem to be in curlers exactly, more like those metal hairstyling clips. I thought perhaps they were just ill-placed barettes, but I think that, even though she appears dressed, she’s still styling her hair. It’s refreshing that she doesn’t seem to mind the camera even though she isn’t, in theory, camera-ready.
